The governing body of Ellsworth County will meet August 22, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the Ellsworth County Courthouse Commission Room 210 N Kansas Ave, Ellsworth KS 67439 for the purpose of hearing and answering objections of taxpayers relating to the proposed use of all funds and the amount of ad valorem tax and Revenue Neutral Rate.

The Board of County Commissioners is the only elected body, which represents all citizens of Ellsworth County regardless of their residence inside or outside city limits.
The Board of County Commissioners is a three-person elected board that has the overall responsibility for county government functions such as budgets, setting public policy and performing executive functions.
Commissioners serve four-year terms, with two of the three Commissioners being elected in the same year, and the other Commissioner elected two years later. Commissioners' terms begin the second Monday in January after the election.
